Scope

This specification is applicable to the calibration of AC and DC (half-wave rectifier or full-wave rectifier) magnetic particle flaw detectors (hereinafter referred to as flaw detectors). This specification does not apply to the calibration of yoke-type magnetic particle flaw detectors (instruments) such as electromagnetic yoke flaw detectors (instruments) and rotating magnetic field flaw detectors (instruments).
