DIN SPEC 19674-2:2011 Plastics piping systems made from glass fibre reinforced polyethylene (PE-GF) for water supply and for drainage and sewerage under pressure - Part 2: Pipes
This part of DIN SPEC 19674 specifies the aspects of pipes made from glass fibre reinforced polyethylene (PE-GF) for the use in pressure piping systems (mains and service pipes), intended for the conveyance of water for human consumption including raw water prior to treatment, drainage and sewerage under pressure, vacuum sewer systems, and water for other purposes.
It also specifies the test parameters for the test methods referred to in this specification.
In conjunction with the other parts of DIN SPEC 19674 it applies to pipes made from PE-GF, their joints, joints to other parts of the piping system, and with components of other materials intended to be used under the following conditions:
a) allowable operating pressure, PFA, up to and including 22 bar; b) an operating temperature of 20 °C as a reference temperature.
