- This margin standard applies to railways with a gauge of 762 mm. This limit standard is only applicable to local railways pulled by steam and internal combustion locomotives and special railways for ground transportation of industrial and mining enterprises; it is not applicable to railways for underground transportation and railways for electric traction. During train marshalling operations, the use of mechanized hump equipment with vehicle retarders is not considered.
