The purpose of this Standard is to provide uniform terminology and definitions in the general area of biomass production and utilization. This includes all the terminologies that are used in biomass feedstock production, harvesting, collecting, handling, storage, pre-processing and conversion, bioenergy, biopower and bioproducts.
