- This part of YY/T 0796 specifies the definition and requirements for the exposure index of images obtained by digital X-ray imaging systems. This section applies to digital X-ray imaging systems under general photography, used for conventional applications in producing projected X-ray images, such as but not limited to: image plate imaging (CR) systems for optically stimulated luminescence X-ray photography; flat panel detectors system; photoelectric coupling device (CCD) system. Excludes image intensifier systems and imaging systems for breast or dental applications. The exposure index defined in this section applies only to images produced by a single exposure. Images produced by multiple irradiations (e.g., tomosynthesis images, dual-energy subtraction images, or single-plate multiple imaging of CR) are not included in this section.
