Scope
This standard specifies the safety requirements for dampers (including compact dumpers, excluding regular dump trucks) and also applies to derived machines. This standard is used in conjunction with JIS A 8340-1, which specifies general safety requirements for earthmoving machinery. This standard specifies all of the significant hazards specific to dampers (Annex 1 and Annex 1 of JIS A 8340-1) that are directly involved when the damper is used under conditions intended and foreseen by the manufacturer. (Refer to 1), and specifically indicates measures to eliminate or reduce the hazards that may arise from these. Remarks I. Dampers running on public roads. It must also comply with road traffic-related laws and regulations established by the national and local governments. 2. In addition to the provisions of this standard, wheeled and tracked rough terrain vehicles must also comply with the structural standards for rough terrain vehicles based on the provisions of Article 42 of the Industrial Safety and Health Act.
