- The digital line signal mode is the line signal mode when the PCM system is used for inter-office relay of the telephone switching network. This standard stipulates the digital line signal coding, interface relay mode and related technical indicators of signal equipment between vertical and horizontal local telephone bureaus (including quasi-electronic bureaus), program-controlled local telephone bureaus and automatic long-distance telephone bureaus in my country's telephone network.
