- This standard defines the procedures and specifications for Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and Site Integrated Test (SIT). These tests are to demonstrate that the automated control system fully complies with the standard specifications. Engineering and production activities prior to system testing are outside the scope of this standard. The contents of this standard can be used as guidance in practical work, and are applicable to the actual requirements of various processes, factories and equipment.
