Scope: This International Standard provides guidance to organizations on general principles, policies, strategies and activities for communicating information about the internal and external environment. This standard uses established and proven effective methods for information exchange, which are suitable for various specific conditions in environmental information exchange. This International Standard applies to all organizations, regardless of size, type, location, structure, activities, products and services, and whether or not they have an environmental management system in place. This standard is not intended to be used for certification or registration purposes, or to establish compliance requirements for any other environmental management system. This standard can be used in combination with any GB/T 24000 series standards or used alone.
