Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of rare earth AB₅ type hydrogen storage alloy powder for metal hydride-nickel battery negative electrodes. This standard applies to rare earth AB₅ type hydrogen storage alloy powder produced by vacuum induction melting process. Used as anode material for metal hydride-nickel batteries.
