- Scope
- This Part specifies the relevant safety requirements for manipulators operated by hand or other parts of the human body at the man-machine interface. This standard specifies the following general requirements: - the general orientation of the movement of the actuator; - the arrangement of one actuator relative to the other; - the correlation between the action and its final effect. This part is based on IEC 60477, but is also applicable to non-electrotechnical processes, such as machinery and fluid power systems. This section applies to a single actuator or a group of actuators that form part of a building block.
