Scope: Important Note: This standard does not address all possible safety issues. This standard specifies the principle of using blasting method to eliminate welding residual stress, determination of blasting parameters, evaluation of blasting effect, related construction operations and safety matters. This standard is applicable to post-weld residual stress relief treatment of metal material welded components with thickness greater than 5mm, yield strength not exceeding 900MPa, qualified welding quality and good ductility (A>10%).
