Scope: This specification specifies the general requirements for axial power type wirewound fixed resistors with and without failure rate class (c) and aerospace class (T). The identification of C-level products is based on the identification of six-level failure rate products. The identification of T-level products is based on the identification of eight-level failure rate ratings. This specification applies to power type wirewound fixed resistors (hereinafter referred to as resistors) that work normally at an ambient temperature of 25° and reduce to 10% of the rated power consumption at 250°.
