Scope: This standard specifies the form, shape and size of the various parts of screw plugs used in conjunction with the hand tools listed in ISO 4510-1-1987, so that the screw plugs can be easily removed and installed on the job site. This standard does not specify manufacturing requirements for screw plugs, ie dimensions and materials. This standard applies to drain, fill and level plugs for earth-moving machinery to replace lubricating oil, coolant, hydraulic oil and fuel oil.
