Scope

This standard specifies the short-term use seat requirements on dump trucks defined in GB/T 8498. This seat is intended for use by trainers, inspectors or maintenance personnel. The configuration or installation of the "trainer seat" is not mandatory. This standard does not apply to small dump trucks defined in GB/T 8498.
