Scope
This standard specifies the test content and test method for the comprehensive performance of the automatic magnetic flux leakage detection system for ferromagnetic seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes (except submerged arc welding). This standard is applicable to test the overall performance of the automatic magnetic flux leakage detection system for steel pipes using the comparative samples specified in this standard under the conditions of the testing site. This standard is also applicable to the comprehensive performance test of the automatic magnetic flux leakage detection system for thickened or coupled steel pipes and petroleum pipes. The comprehensive performance test of the automatic magnetic flux leakage detection system for ferromagnetic steel rods can also refer to this standard.
