Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, marks, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of compressed gas springs (hereinafter referred to as gas springs). This standard applies to gas springs that use nitrogen or other inert gases as energy storage working medium.
