Scope
This standard specifies the classification of dirt in chemical cleaning of industrial equipment, cleaning quality requirements, test methods and completion acceptance. This standard applies to the chemical cleaning of scale, rust, oil and other dirt formed on the surface of industrial equipment made of carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, copper and copper alloys, aluminum and aluminum alloys. The chemical cleaning of material scale in industrial equipment and the chemical cleaning of industrial equipment made of other materials can be implemented by reference.
