- This standard specifies the technical requirements for monitoring items, composition and functional design of safety monitoring and early warning systems for major hazardous sources of hazardous chemicals. This standard applies to the design, construction and management of safety monitoring and early warning systems (hereinafter referred to as systems) for newly constructed storage tank areas, reservoir areas and production sites with major sources of hazardous chemicals in the chemical (including petrochemical) industry. Expansion or reconstruction of systems may be implemented with reference . Other industries can refer to this implementation.
