Scope
This procedure applies to the initial calibration, subsequent calibration and in-use inspection of X and γ radiation thermoluminescence dosimeters (hereinafter referred to as dosimeters) used in X and γ radiation personal and environmental dose monitoring. The applicable radiation amounts are personal dose equivalent Hp (10), Hp (O.07) and ambient dose equivalent H (10). The magnitude range is 0.0l mSv ~ 10 Sv, and the photon energy range is 30 keV ~ 1.5 MeV. This procedure does not apply to the calibration of X and γ radiation thermoluminescence dosimetry systems for personal monitoring and environmental monitoring. This procedure does not apply to devices for personal monitoring equipped with extremity dosimeters, nor does it apply to the verification of devices measuring beta radiation, neutron radiation and cosmic ray radiation.
