- This standard is stipulated for the purpose of implementing energy conservation, environmental protection, building a conservation-oriented society, promoting the use of solar water heating systems in buildings, and standardizing the evaluation of civil building solar water heating systems. This standard is applicable to the evaluation of solar water heating systems used in newly built, rebuilt and expanded civil buildings, as well as the addition and renovation of solar water heating systems in existing civil buildings. The evaluation of solar water heating system should be based on the principle of adapting measures to local conditions, combined with the characteristics of solar energy resources, natural environment, economic development level, social customs and other characteristics of the building type and its location. The evaluation of solar water heating systems for civil buildings should not only meet this standard, but also meet the current relevant national standards.
