- This standard specifies the welds of steel welded pipes, socket pipes, glass pipes and buried polyethylene pipes and vertical cylindrical steel storage tanks that transport or store crude oil, refined oil, natural gas, coal bed methane and water. Leak detection methods and acceptance requirements. The leakage detection method should comply with the requirements of the design documents.
