- 1.1 This standard is suitable for measuring the anti-corrosion properties of grease-coated tapered rolling bearings stored in dilute synthetic seawater environments of various concentrations under humid conditions. This standard is based on the GB/T 5018 method. The test steps of GB/T 5018 are similar to this method and dis illed water is used as the test medium. This method uses pass or fail as the assessment result, and reports consis ent results for at least two of the three bearings. 1.2 This standard does not address all safety is ues related to its use. Users of this standard should formulate corresponding safety and protective measures and determine an applicable management system before use.
