- This standard specifies the test method for measuring the tensile force and elongation deformation of asphalt materials using a force and ductility tester. This standard is applicable to the determination of the maximum tensile force value and the elongation deformation value at maximum tensile force of asphalt, modified asphalt and emulsified asphalt residues. This standard does not involve safety regulations related to use. It is the responsibility of the user of the standard to establis appropriate safety application procedures before use.
