This standard specifies the methods, technical requirements and acceptance assessment conditions for containment structural integrity testing. This standard is applicable to the integrity test of containment structures with bonded prestressed concrete and steel lining in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. The applicable containment structure forms are oblate spherical dome, flat bottom plate and vertical cylindrical single-layer containment. . This type of containment can be used as a reference when conducting structural in-service inspections. It can also be used as a reference for other shapes of containment vessels.
