Scope

This part specifies the technical requirements for the installation and maintenance of valves related to nuclear safety in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This section applies to the installation of nuclear safety-related valves (including spare parts) in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants and the technical requirements for maintenance and inspection during installation. The technical requirements for the installation and maintenance of non-nuclear grade valves for nuclear use may be implemented by reference.
