- This standard specifies the characteristics of standardized and not standardized shaving cutters and rolling dies with bore for cylindrical gears. It is valid for external and internal toothing with involute profile. The characteristics describe a toothing for a specified tolling method. For a complete descriprtion several data records can be necessary. The first data record describes the finished work piece.
