Scope: This standard specifies the detection conditions and evaluation methods of the radiated electromagnetic field strength generated by arc welding and resistance welding equipment under normal working conditions. The frequency of electromagnetic radiation involved is below 1 MHz. According to the current actual capability of electromagnetic radiation detection, the detection frequency is in the range from 10 Hz to 400 kHz. This standard applies to arc welding and resistance welding equipment.
