This part of GB/T 17416 specifies the method for determining the amount of zirconium and hafnium in zirconium ore by xylenol orange photometry. This part is applicable to zirconium ores, and also to the determination of zirconium-hafnium content in other rare metal ores. Measuring range: 0.010%～2.0% (mass fraction) zirconium and hafnium content [based on zirconium dioxide and hafnium content].
