Scope

This section applies to equipment in systems with nominal voltages of 3 kV and above. The relevant technical committees are responsible for selecting the on-site test voltage, test procedures and test voltage levels for electrical appliances, equipment and facilities. Special cases of field test voltages other than those described in this standard may be specified by the relevant technical committee.
