Scope

This Recommendation covers video bit-rate reduction for real-time distribution of large-screen digital imagery applications for presentation in a theatrical environment and include examples of bit rates for MPEG-2 and MPEG-4/AVC compressed signals used in LSDI applications. Baseband LSDI digital image systems are defined in Recommendation ITU-R BT.1680.
