Scope

This standard applies to the reservoir, which is installed at the joint between the cylinder pod and the reservoir of automobile hydraulic brake master cylinders that use non-mineral oil based brake fluid, to prevent fluid leakage and to prevent foreign objects, water, etc. from entering the interior. Rubber seals (hereinafter referred to as reservoir seals) are specified.
