Scope

This part of JIS C 8147-2-3 defines the power supply frequency used in combination with fluorescent lamps specified in JIS C 7617-2, JIS C 7618-2 or other fluorescent lamps for high-frequency lighting. Specifies individual safety requirements for electronic ballasts with a rated secondary voltage of 1000 V or less, operating at different frequencies and used with 50 Hz or 60 Hz power supplies of 1000 V AC or less.
