Scope

This standard applies to steel sheets and steel strips (hereinafter referred to as sheets and steel strips) that are hot-dip galvanized to equal thickness on both sides in a plating bath containing 97% or more zinc (however, aluminum is normally 0.30% or less). (referred to as a coil). In this case, plates include not only flat plates but also corrugated plates with shapes and dimensions specified in JIS G 3316.
