This standard specifies a testing machine for measuring the Erichsen value of metal sheets with a thickness of 0.1 to 2 mm and a width of 90 mm or more. In addition, for thicker materials and narrow specimens, jigs with specific dimensions are specified as shown in Table 1 and are distinguished by subscripts.
