- This standard specifies the preventive test items, requirements and methods for primary equipment of series capacitor compensation devices (referred to as series compensation devices). This standard is applicable to the preventive testing of primary equipment of series compensation devices of transmission lines with voltage levels of 220kV-500kV. Primary equipment of series compensation devices of other voltage levels may be implemented as a reference.
