Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical parameters, charging modes, classification and function definitions, structural dimensions, performance requirements, test methods and inspection rules for electric vehicle conductive charging interfaces. This standard specifies two charging interfaces, one is an interface that provides AC power for vehicle chargers, and the other is an interface that provides DC power for electric vehicles. This standard applies to charging cables for electric vehicles with AC rated voltage of 220V and DC rated voltage not exceeding 750V, conductive charging interfaces on the connection side of electric vehicles, conductive charging cables and off-board charging equipment or AC power supply equipment. The charging interface can be implemented as a reference.
