- Scope
- This standard specifies the photon correlation method for measuring the average particle size and spread of particle size distribution of particles dispersed in a liquid (hereinafter referred to as dispersion medium). This standard applies to particles from a few nm to approximately 1 um, or until the effects of sedimentation are observed. In the data analysis procedure (see Annex A), the particles are assumed to be homogeneous and spherical.
