Scope

This standard specifies ring groove dimensions and positioning retaining rings for radial bearings in dimension series 18, 19, and diameter series 0, 2, 3, and 4 (excluding dimension series 00, 82, and 83) specified in JIS B 1512. (hereinafter referred to as a retaining ring), the dimensions, tolerances and tolerances, and the minimum chamfer dimensions on the ring groove side of the outer ring are specified.
