Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining the content of soluble substances in wool textiles using methylene chloride as the extraction solvent. This standard is applicable to the determination of dichloromethane-soluble substances in pure wool, wool nitrile or wool brocade blended combed slivers, semi-finished products and finished products. Other plush products shall be implemented accordingly.
