Scope
This standard describes a method for the objective detection of tonal components of noise and for the determination of a tone adjustment for the assessment of noise immissions. This methods can be applied if the frequency of the descrete tone is equal or greater than 90 Hz and if the frequency and magnitude vary less. This standard explains the practical application on the basis of different examples for detecting tones and the determination of tone adjustments.The standard is published together with a VBA-computer programm listing and an executable file provided on a compact disc.
