Scope: This standard applies to the "International Code of Safety for High Speed Craft" (HSC Code) [IMO MSC. Chapter 13 of Resolution 36(63)] requires searchlights to be installed on board high-speed craft. Searchlights installed on high-speed boats help to spot other ships, offshore structures, navigational obstacles, floating objects and creatures, coastlines and fixed buoys and buoys. During the voyage, it provides the driver with necessary assistance such as navigation safety, collision avoidance, and search and rescue of victims.
