Scope
This part specifies the technical requirements for chemical composition, mechanical properties, test methods, inspection rules, dimensions, appearance and weight of Q235HR, Q265HR, Q295HR and Q335HR carbon steel and low alloy steel plates for Level 1, 2 and 3 pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. This section applies to carbon steel and low alloy steel plates with a nominal thickness of not more than 150 mm for level 1, 2, and 3 equipment and welded pipes (pipe fittings) in pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants. Q265HR steel plate is also suitable for containment steel lining.
