Scope

In order to protect property and, when applicable, life, protective fire detection and alarm systems can be installed to initiate a number of different activities: detection and location of a fire; provision of assistance to contain andíor extinguish the fire; emergency evacuation procedures; summoning of fíre-fighting forces.
