Scope: This standard applies to the calculation and construction of bridge cranes and their supports made of reinforced concrete, lightweight reinforced concrete and prestresses concrete.; The standard constitutes a supplement to DIN 1045, DIN 4219 parts 1 and 2 as well as DIN 4227 part 1, extending or limiting the scope of these standards in respect of those features which are peculiar to bridge cranes and to which special attention must be paid.; An annex has been compiled which contains data on design loads and on the loading conditions and combinations of loading conditions to be examined, these data being required in the calculations. The relevant rules set out in DIN 4132 and DIN 15018 part 1 have been taken into account.
