Scope

This standard specifies the minimum operating and performance requirements, test methods and test results for marine acoustic sounding equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment) required to comply with IMO Resolution A.224 (VII). In addition to IMO Resolution A.224 (VII), IMO Resolution A.694(17) is taken into account and linked to IEC 60945.
