Scope: This standard specifies the limit value of electric washing machine unit power consumption, limit value of water consumption, energy saving evaluation value and energy efficiency level determination method. This standard applies to household electric washing machines with a rated washing capacity of 13kg or less, hereinafter referred to as washing machines; it does not apply to washing machines of 1.0kg or less and single-tub washing machines without dehydration function. For washing and drying machines, only the washing function is assessed.
