- This standard specifies the acceptance, operation and maintenance requirements for tap changers used in power transformers. This standard is applicable to oil-immersed, dry-type on-load tap-changers and non-excitation tap-changers with resistance transition for power transformers with rated voltages from 35 (20) kV to 750 kV.
