Scope

This standard is applicable to the determination of the ferrite grain size of cold-rolled low-carbon steel sheets with a carbon content of less than 0.2% under a microscope. The ferrite grain size of low-carbon and low-alloy steel sheets can also be evaluated with reference to this standard.
