Scope
This standard specifies that heating wires, heating sheets, and heating ports with an operating voltage of 600 V or less AC shall be installed inside or on the surface of structures such as roads, parking lots, construction materials, and pipelines, or underground. , stipulates construction methods for heating facilities fixed on the ground, in the air, or underwater. However, this does not apply when heating wires, etc. are used as a component of machinery and equipment. Note: General places refer to places other than the following. a) Locations where flammable gases or vapors of flammable liquids with flash points below 40°C exist in the air and reach dangerous concentrations, or where there is a risk of such occurrence. b) Locations where electrical equipment may become an ignition source and cause an explosion or fire due to the presence of deflagration dust, conductive dust, combustible dust, or combustible fibers. c) Places where celluloid, matches, petroleum, and other flammable and dangerous substances are manufactured or stored. d) Explosives warehouses, explosives manufacturing facilities, or explosives handling facilities that are subject to the Explosives Control Act (Act No. 149 of 1950).
